Greta, Clio and Jersey: 5-9 McDonald Street, Potts Point. Sydney, New South Wales

"Jersey" (5), "Clio" (7) and "Greta" (9) Mc Donald Street. Potts Point, New South Wales
This row of three terraces (Greta, Clio and Jersey) is tucked away in a side street in Sydney’s Potts Point. At three storeys this is a large impressive stand of terraces set amongst interwar and modern apartment buildings.
Korien and Maroura: 2-4 Challis Avenue, Potts Point. Sydney, New South Wales

Korien & Maroura. 2-4 Challis Avenue. Potts Point, New South Wales
It would be fairly safe to say that this pair of three storey terrace houses Korien (2) and Maroura (4) shares the same architect, plan and date as nearby terraces on McDonald Street. In fact the slight exception of this less impressive stand marching downhill toward the harbour and a slightly different style of urn (ball) on the verandah party wall. Another notable difference is the visibility of the chimneys on the end terraces with their rows of six pots. At the time of the photograph Maroura seemed to be missing its verandah balustrade – not just a visual anomaly but also quite an occupational hazard.
